On Saturday November 3, 2007, the South Fayette White 10 & 11 year old football team and cheerleading squad were crowned champions of the Greater 19 Youth Football league 10 & 11 year old NFC division by defeating USC 20-6 in the championship game. The Lions ended their championship season with a record of 9-1.

It was a heart-stopper...and we emerged victorious!! Twice!! Yes, both our 7th Grade Girls’ Basketball team AND our 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball team won the title of 2007 South West Conference Champions during the final round of the tournament held at South Fayette High School on October 25. The 7th grade team defeated the Lady Vikings of Hopewell by a score of 35-29, ending their season with a record of 17 wins and 2 losses. The 8th grade team defeated the Lady Antelopes of Avonworth by a score of 31-26 in overtime, ending their season with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses. Way to go, girls! And our thanks go out to a great coaching staff for a job well done.
