Firearm Fundamentals & Gun Safety — Saturday, August 16
If your child came upon a gun lying on the ground,would they know what
to do? Would you know what to do? Have you been considering
purchasing a firearm for the first time? Do you have
firearms in your home but do not know how to
impress on your children the need for safety and
the effects of carelessness?
This course is geared towards children aged
5 and older, but encompasses all ages including adults.All children
ages 12 years or younger,MUST be accompanied by a parent or
guardian. Regardless of your experience, or even if you do not own a
gun, you will walk away with a better understanding of firearm safety.
Course Curriculum:
• Basic FirearmTypes • Safety Principles • Proper Handling Procedures
• Basic Maintenance • Kids & Guns • Liability Concerns
• Storage Options • Live Fire Exercises (optional)
Time:
8:30 a.m. Check In
9 a.m.— Noon Class Instruction
Noon — 1 p.m. Lunch (bring your own)
1 — 4 p.m. Live Fire Exercises (must attend morning session)
